Bruchion Art Institute

Jan named the school Bruchion after the district where scholars and teachers from the ancient world gathered and lived while they studied at the two great libraries of Alexandria. It was a place where the traditions of many peoples met and mingled -- Greeks and Africans, yogis and druids, artists, historians, mathematicians -- in an atmosphere of hospitality and enlightenment that would not occur again until the Florentine Renaissance.
