This summer, after signing the contract on July 11, we could finally start working. So, we got Jan's son, Tristan, over from Los Angeles and some nice local blokes to help us clear the land as everything was covered in blackberry bushes, nestles, little trees, - you name it. We also started tearing down old shit that had to go, and a caravan and several old farm machines were removed. You would not believe the amount of crap that gathers in an old place like this. (We also have bats, bunnies, spiders and an abundance of wasps.) But there are nice surprices too: We found several plum trees behind Jan's studio.

I guess this will be a tool shed. It's the room next to the ceramic studio
In this little building there are three rooms. Maybe a sauna, a little private writing study, and a room for garden furniture?
So did you get it by now? Barn (future main house), farm equipment and new living room
The big black hole is the opening into our future living room. We'll put in nice big glass doors there.
